Distillers SA Membership

Distillers SA is the industry association of choice for South Australian spirit makers, offering South Australian distilleries the opportunity for business growth, support and industry representation.

As a member, you’ll gain access to a robust network of local industry experts and training, receive valuable insights into market trends and regulatory changes, and benefit from collective marketing initiatives that amplify your brand’s visibility in our state.

Distillers SA fosters collaboration and innovation within the industry, and membership is open to any person or company invested in furthering the integrity and innovation of distilling in South Australia.

Member Categories and Benefits

You can choose your correct membership level from the two categories listed below.

Full Member

$500 p.a, renewed annually on the 1st July

You have an ATO Excise Manufacture License and own and use a still or plan to purchase, own and use a still within 12 months of initial membership application.

In the case of liqueur only manufacturers, you make your own liqueurs and sell more than 3,000L per annum.

  • tickets to a free quarterly industry networking event held across SA (with plenty of ‘spirited discussion’ and knowledge sharing)
  • free or discounted tickets to an annual calendar of distillery specific up-skilling workshops and webinars;
  • discounted tickets to the Distillers South Australia Annual Industry Conference;
  • opportunities to apply to participate in trade missions and ‘spirits of South Australia’ brand activations in key domestic and international export markets with Distillers SA;
  • the right to vote in the Distillers SA association AGM;
  • a monthly Distillers SA EDM providing timely industry updates, event invitations and information about opportunities for the sector in SA; and
  • advocacy on your behalf to state and federal government on key issues impacting our sector including alcohol excise, alcohol advertising and access to government support programs and services.

Associate Member

$300 p.a, renewed annually on the 1st July

Anyone not entitled to apply as a full member may apply to be an Associate Member.

This category of membership also applies to industry and trade who exist in the related supply chain, are aligned with the industry and share our philosophies and values.
